Crowning New Royalty and Surviving the Chaos
WWE heads to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, this Saturday for Night of Champions. Between championship gold, King and Queen of the Ring crowns, and a steel cage grudge match, the winners on this show could shape the road to SummerSlam in a major way.
Here are my predictions for every match on the card.

Iyo Sky Defeats Liv Morgan to Win Queen of the Ring

This feels like the perfect opportunity for WWE to elevate Iyo Sky back into the main event picture.
Liv Morgan has already established herself as one of the top stars in the women’s division. She doesn’t necessarily need the Queen of the Ring crown to remain relevant. Meanwhile, Iyo has quietly become one of WWE’s most reliable performers, and a tournament victory would immediately put her in line for a major championship opportunity at SummerSlam.
I also think WWE can protect Liv in defeat. Whether it’s lingering injuries, outside distractions, or simply a hard-fought loss to one of the best wrestlers in the world, Morgan losing here won’t hurt her standing too much.
Prediction: Iyo Sky wins Queen of the Ring.
Oba Femi Defeats Jey Uso to Win King of the Ring

This is the easiest prediction on the card.
Jey Uso is already a made man. He’s been a world champion, a WrestleMania main-eventer, and one of WWE’s most popular stars for years. Oba Femi, on the other hand, feels like WWE’s next monster main-event attraction.
Everything about Oba’s presentation screams future world champion. He’s dominant, charismatic, and carries himself like a superstar. Winning King of the Ring would give WWE a legitimate excuse to launch him directly into a world title program.
Jey can absorb the loss and remain one of WWE’s biggest babyfaces. Oba needs the win far more.
Prediction: Oba Femi becomes King of the Ring.
Trick Williams Retains the United States Championship Against Ricky Saints

Ricky Saints has been impressive since arriving in WWE, but this doesn’t feel like the right time to take the championship off Trick Williams.
Since defeating Sami Zayn at WrestleMania, Trick has continued to grow as one of WWE’s breakout stars. The company appears heavily invested in him and a relatively short title reign would feel premature.
I expect Saints to have a strong showing and come very close to winning, but ultimately Trick should find a way to retain and continue building momentum.
Prediction: Trick Williams retains the United States Championship.
Jade Cargill Defeats Tiffany Stratton for the Women’s United States Championship

Tiffany Stratton has done excellent work establishing the Women’s United States Championship, but Jade Cargill has been hovering around the upper card for quite some time and it just feels like WWE is ready to put gold back on her.
It also allows Tiffany to move back into the Women’s Championship picture, where many fans still see her as a future top champion.
Jade’s star power is undeniable, and Night of Champions feels like the perfect stage to pull the trigger and maybe set up a match versus Charlotte Flair for SummerSlam.
Prediction: Jade Cargill wins the Women’s United States Championship.
Bron Breakker Defeats Seth Rollins Inside the Steel Cage

If WWE is serious about making Bron Breakker one of the faces of the company over the next decade, he needs this win.
Seth Rollins has already accomplished everything there is to accomplish in WWE. He doesn’t need another major victory. Bron, however, is still building his legacy.
The steel cage stipulation should help produce the most physical match of the night. I expect interference attempts, chaos outside the cage, and plenty of near falls. In the end, though, this feels like the moment where Bron finally scores the biggest singles victory of his main roster career.
A win over Rollins inside a cage would instantly raise Breakker’s stock heading into the second half of 2026.
Prediction: Bron Breakker defeats Seth Rollins.
Cody Rhodes Retains the WWE Championship Against Gunther and Sami Zayn

The main event is fascinating because all three men have legitimate reasons to win.
Gunther still has a strong argument that he was robbed at Clash in Italy, while Sami Zayn’s recent character shift has added a level of unpredictability that makes him arguably the most interesting version of Sami we’ve seen in years. Meanwhile, Cody Rhodes remains the face of WWE and one of the company’s biggest attractions.
Despite that, I don’t see this being the night Cody loses the championship.
The most likely outcome is Gunther and Sami becoming so focused on each other that they open the door for Cody to capitalize. WWE can continue both rivalries while keeping the title on its top babyface heading into SummerSlam season.
A Cody victory also preserves several blockbuster championship matches for later in the year, including potential rematches against Gunther and future showdowns with rising stars like Oba Femi or a returning Randy Orton.
Prediction: Cody Rhodes retains the Undisputed WWE Championship.
