On May 16th, the world’s best golfers will get back together for the first time since the Masters to do battle at the PGA Championship.
Golf’s second major of the season has a packed field once again, and Bovada’s Sportsbook has a packed list of PGA Championship Odds to keep you in the action from the opening drive.
Let’s check out the players with the best – and most interesting – odds as they aim for the Wanamaker Trophy at Valhalla Golf Course in Louisville, Kentucky.

Scottie Scheffler +350
Simply the most dominant player the world has seen since Tiger Woods’ prime, Scottie Scheffler leads the pack when it comes to PGA Championship Odds this year.
The numbers are staggering. He’s won 4 out of his last 5 tournaments, including the Masters. And that one that he “missed”? He finished T2. He’s made over $18 million since the beginning of the year.
What could derail Scheffler at the PGA? He did just become a father in recent weeks, so maybe a few late nights could throw off his game. It’s not much of an issue, of course, but his fellow competitors need to hold on to any advantage they can these days.
Jon Rahm +1200
Finishing a full 20 strokes behind Scheffler at this year’s Masters and ending up tied for 45th, Jon Rahm might be looking to avenge his poor showing and justify his favorable PGA Championship odds.
Oddsmakers might have him this high based on his previous showings in the majors, with two wins and a number of top 10 finishes. This year, outside of the Masters and playing on the LIV tour with a lesser field to go up against, Rahm has finished in the top 10 in all seven of his starts.
Rory McIIroy +1200
With a glaring drought in the majors dating back 10 years, Rory McIIroy is still somehow part of the conversation for golf fans and sports bettors every time a major comes around.
He has won two PGA Championship titles, including – you guessed it – the 2014 event at Valhalla.
Can a return to the same course where he raised the Wanamaker a decade ago spur McIIroy to victory this year? His 2024 record doesn’t suggest it, with only one top 10 finish in eight PGA Tour events so far.
Brooks Koepka +1600
The defending PGA Championship champ (and general crusher of majors, with five titles to his name already), Brooks Koepka has become an automatic top 5 favorite in almost every big tournament. He’s coming off a recent win in Singapore with LIV, but he’s still sitting 16th in LIV’s individual standings this year.
After a Masters performance that he himself deemed a “wake-up call”, the rest of the field might only be shooting for second place at the PGA Championship.
Ludvig Aberg +1600
Ludvig Aberg is the cool new kid on the block who impressed everyone with his Masters run, finishing second and looking like he was always in control. The sweet-swinging Swede also finished 8th at the Players Championship in March and tied for tenth at the RBC Heritage event just a week after the Masters.
The conventional wisdom when it comes to Aberg is that it’s a matter of when, not if, he’ll win a major. His PGA Championship odds reflect that thinking already.

Xander Schauffele +2000
Very likely the most “due” of the players in the field at the PGA Championship to win a first major, Xander Schauffele looks like good value at +2000.
He has seven top 10 finishes in 2024 already, including a T2 behind only Scheffler at the Players Championship. Schauffele also brings his A-game to the majors, with twelve top 10’s in career majors, including three of the last five.
Max Homa +2500
In contention at the 2024 Masters until late on Sunday, Max Homa is a social media star (600K followers) and a fan favorite who is certainly capable of taking home the PGA Championship title. The problem with Homa is his consistency, however. One week he’s hitting every shot and the next week he’s out of contention by Friday evening.
He followed up his T3 at Augusta with a 55th-place finish a week later at Harbour Town, so his value seems to vary. If you like rooting for the good guys with good (long) odds, Homa could be the way to go.
Bryson DeChambeau +2500
After a few years wandering the golf wilderness, the ball-mashing DeChambeau made a lot of noise at this year’s Masters before fading a little on the final Sunday and finishing T6.
DeChambeau has slipped a little in recent weeks on the LIV Tour as well, which has hurt his PGA Championship odds. After four straight top 10 finishes, he’s finished in 26th and 27th place in his last two events. And that’s against a lesser field than he’ll see at Valhalla.
Sahith Theegala +5000
If you’re looking for a middle of the pack pick with a big potential PGA payout, Sahith Theegala might be the way to go.
Coming off a second-place finish at the RBC Heritage (losing to the one and only Scheffler), Theegala has five top 10 finishes this year already. The 26-year-old has just one win on the PGA Tour and no majors, which gives him these longshot PGA Championship odds, but he’s consistently in the top 15 in the world rankings and is having his best year yet.
Tiger Woods +15000
Ok, we admit, we might just put Tiger on these golf preview lists until the day he fully retires. But he’s still one of the most compelling stories in golf who also attracts the biggest crowds anytime he’s on the course.
His opening round at the Masters gave fans a glimmer of hope that he’d be in contention, and Tiger even put on a strong showing on Day 2 to keep the dream alive. If he’s capable of stringing together four days in a row like that at the PGA…
