If you were waiting for “any given Sunday” moments this season, Week 3 brought it.
The Green Bay Packers, arguably the best team in the NFL last week, got defensively dominated by the bottom-five Cleveland Browns. Minnesota, Washington, and San Francisco all won with backup quarterbacks, and the Carolina Panthers not only beat Atlanta by 30, but, shut them out.
It’s tough in these betting streets for those who want consistency from their NFL odds. But we’ve got a preview of the NFL’s best bets for Week 4 to help you focus.

Thursday Night Football
Seattle Seahawks (2-1) at Arizona Cardinals (2-1)
- Start: September 25 at 8:15 p.m. ET on Prime Video
- Spread: Arizona -1, Seattle +1
- Moneyline: Arizona -110, Seattle -110
- Total: 43
Thursday Night Football brings a divisional clash of teams at a crossroads. Seattle’s offense finally erupted with 44 points on New Orleans, while Arizona’s struggles under Kyler Murray continued in a 16-15 loss to an injury-depleted San Francisco. The Seahawks have dominated this matchup, winning eight of the last 10 and going 8-2 against the spread (ATS).
Sunday Afternoon
Philadelphia Eagles (3-0) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-0)
- Start: September 28 at 12 p.m. ET on FOX
- Spread: Tampa Bay +3.5, Philadelphia -3.5
- Moneyline: Tampa Bay +160, Philadelphia -185
- Total: 44
No lead feels safe when the Eagles head to Tampa Bay. Both teams proved last week they have ice in their veins – Philly rallied from a 26–7 deficit to beat the Rams, while the Bucs pulled off a second straight game-winning drive. Recent history favors Tampa: Baker Mayfield torched the Eagles last season in a 33–16 win and dominated again in the 2023-24 NFL Wild Card Round in a 32–9 Wild Card rout.
Indianapolis Colts (3-0) at Los Angeles Rams (2-1)
- Start: September 28 at 4:05 p.m. ET on FOX
- Spread: Los Angeles -4, Indianapolis +4
- Moneyline: Los Angeles -195, Indianapolis +165
- Total: 49.5
Danny Dimes, Indiana Jones, Vanilla Vick, whatever you want to call him, QB Daniel Jones is balling and has the Colts 3-0 for the first time since Peyton Manning was under center.
Now comes a true test against a Rams squad still stinging from surrendering 26 unanswered points to the Eagles. The Rams have opened the season by marching through the AFC South, edging Houston in Week 1 before dominating Tennessee in Week 2. They also went 2-0 ATS in those games.
Baltimore Ravens (1-2) at Kansas City Chiefs (1-2)
- Start: September 28 at 4:25 p.m. ET on CBS
- Spread: Kansas City +2.5, Baltimore -2.5
- Moneyline: Kansas City +190, Baltimore -230
- Total: 48.5
It hasn’t been an easy start for the Kansas City Chiefs. But they managed to avoid starting 0-3 for the first time since 2008. In their defense, they’ve had a rough schedule. Beginning with a playoff contender in the Chargers, only to follow up with the reigning Super Bowl champs in Week 2. Unfortunately, things don’t get easier. While Kansas City has won and covered in four of its last five meetings with Baltimore, it’s never looked more vulnerable offensively.
Sunday Night Football
Green Bay Packers (2-1) at Dallas Cowboys (1-2)
- Start: September 28 at 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC
- Spread: Dallas +6.5, Green Bay -6.5
- Moneyline: Dallas -+265, Green Bay -330
- Total: 47
Sunday Night Football lines up a “vibe check” matchup. The jury is still out on how good or how bad both teams are. Both looked promising in the first two weeks, but both suffered humiliating defeats in Week 3. The Packers were absolutely dominated by Cleveland’s defense, scoring only 10 points; the Cowboys couldn’t stop Chicago’s offense, giving up 31 points and several big plays.
Unfortunately for the Cowboys, they haven’t beaten the Packers since 2016 and are 0-5 ATS.
Monday Night Football
New York Jets (0-3) at Miami Dolphins (0-3)
- Start: September 29 at 7:15 p.m. ET on ESPN
- Spread: Miami -2.5, NYJ +2.5
- Moneyline: Miami -150, NYJ +130
- Total: 44.5
While you could argue every 0-3 team is desperate, it feels like this is a breaking point for Miami. They’re at home, on MNF, and have been on the decline since 2024. QB Tua Tagovailoa hasn’t looked like the answer for the franchise, and it feels like troubled wideout Tyreek Hill is on the cusp of turning on the coaching staff.
While the Dolphins have a great 4-2 ATS record against the Jets during head coach Mike McDaniel’s tenure, these Jets appear energized under new head coach Aaron Glenn.
