NFL Week 3 is here, and some teams are already in a hole that they’ll need to climb out of quickly if they want to be playing in January.

The Ravens, Rams, and Bengals all have too much talent to be winless, so expect them to be playing all-out before the season slips away.

Meanwhile, teams like Seattle and New Orleans are racking up the points and the W’s, even though their NFL odds were looking weak heading into the season.

Bovada has all the NFL lines and odds* to make your Week 3 a success – check out the biggest games and best betting insights right now.

New England Patriots (+230) at New York Jets (-280)

This classic AFC East rivalry gets a new look as Tom Brady is long gone and Aaron Rodgers is the new (old) kid on the block.

Rodgers showed signs of his Hall of Fame talent last weekend, and this is his first game at home since he left for the season in last year’s opener.

With all the talent surrounding him – Garrett Wilson at receiver, Breece Hall at running back – and the Pats in a re-building year, this game could be a blowout if Rodgers hits his stride.

New England has put up a tougher fight than expected in its first two games this season though, with an OT loss to Seattle and a win over Cincy. This could make their current spread of +6.5 appealing to some bettors. At the same time, the Pats’ secondary gave up 327 yards to Geno Smith… what numbers might Rodgers put up?

With one of the lowest Over/Unders listed so far this year at 37.5, fans of the Jets who are waiting for the breakout performance from their offense might like the Over.

Over 190 bets are currently available for this Thursday Night Football matchup between New England and the NY Jets, so there’s action for everyone.

Miami Dolphins (+250) at Seattle Seahawks (-210)

The Seattle Seahawks are one of the surprises of the early season, starting out 2-0.

But those wins came against the Broncos and the Patriots, two teams unlikely to end up with winning records this year.

The Dolphins – with or without Tua Tagovailoa – have more talent on the offensive side of the ball at least. Tyreek Hill is always a dangerous weapon on the field at any time, and RB De’Von Achane is turning out to be a player. Achane picked up close to 170 yards in total offense in his last game, and he can find the end zone from anywhere.

Seattle has a steady QB in Geno Smith and a receiving corps that includes Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who is coming off a 12-catch win over New England.

Close to 200 bets are available at Bovada for the Dolphins – Seahawks matchup. With the Dolphins needing to fly over 6 hours to play the game, and the doubtful status of their star QB, they could be in for a long day.

The spread, currently at just 5.5 points in favor of Seattle, might be a good value for Seahawks bettors. And here’s one extra value potential play: Taking the combo bet of the Seahawks to cover and the Over (36.5) is currently +155. You’ll find that and many others like under the Alternate Lines tab.

Baltimore Ravens (-115) at Dallas Cowboys (-105)

The Ravens are one of the biggest surprises in the NFL this season, and not in a good way.

They’ve started the year 0-2, even with MVP Lamar Jackson healthy and the offseason arrival of Derrick Henry. Then again, both games have been decided by only one score, and one of those losses was to the defending Super Bowl champions, Kansas City.

The Cowboys come into the game with their own problems, having just taken a pounding from the Saints. Their run defense was especially exposed, giving up 190 yards in that game. With Henry ready to rumble, and Lamar always being a threat to run, this could spell trouble for the hometown Cowboys.

Aside from All-Pro wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, Dallas has a mediocre offense that ranks just 17th in the league at the moment.

Another motivating factor for the Ravens? Since 2020, 32 NFL teams have started the season 0-2, and only two of them have made the playoffs. Baltimore will want to get out of trouble and they should come out firing in Big D.

The Ravens-Cowboys betting page at Bovada has all the NFL odds you need for the game, with hundreds of ways to wager.

Detroit Lions (-165) at Arizona Cardinals (+140)

Coming so close to the Super Bowl last season, the Detroit Lions were one of the favorites to make it to the big game heading into this year.

But they stumbled a little last weekend, losing to Tampa Bay. Suddenly there are some doubts. Quarterback Jared Goff has thrown for three interceptions versus just one touchdown to start the season. A sign of trouble, or just early-season rust?

The Cardinals, meanwhile, have QB Kyler Murray showing the skills that made him a number one overall pick five years ago. He’s operating an offense loaded with talent, including Marvin Harrison Jr, who broke out last week with 130 yards receiving and two TDs.

NFL oddsmakers are calling this a close one, with the Lions favored by just 3 points currently. They’re also counting on both offenses to come up big, with the Over/Under at 51.5 points – the highest Totals in the league for this week’s schedule of NFL games.

Well over 200 bets for Lions-Cardinals are already live at Bovada.

Washington Commanders (+295) at Cincinnati Bengals (-390)

Joe Burrow and the Bengals are coming off a heartbreaking 26-25 loss to the Chiefs, a game that came down to just one missed extra point.

Cincy, after a tough eek 1 loss to New England, looked much better in that game against KC. Burrow’s troubled wrist seemed fine and he put up over 250 yards with 2 TDs.

The Commanders went all-in on rookie QB Jayden Daniels in the offseason, and it looks like they’re letting him learn on the job. And there’s no bigger test than on national TV on Monday night. Can he withstand the pressure?

Where the Bengals could get into trouble is on the ground. They only managed 74 yards rushing against KC while giving up 149 yards. With Daniels’ being the main threat to run for the Commanders, he could have a big night.

All the Commanders-Bengals bets you need are right here.

If you like Burrow and think Ja’Marr Chase is just getting warmed up, the Bengals 8-point favorite status might look pretty appealing – especially if Daniels feels the pressure.

But if you think the rookie has enough big game experience from his days at LSU and might run wild, then pick the Commanders to keep this game within one score.
