2026 NFL Week 16 Odds and Betting Lines

NFL-ODDS-WEEK-16

Every week of NFL action brings new storylines, new drama, surprise performances, and fresh odds to deep dive into.

Last year, the Seattle Seahawks began the 2025 season as approximately +6000 underdogs to win Super Bowl LX. They ultimately closed as +350 favorites before winning it all over the New England Patriots, 29-13. They finished tied for the best regular-season record against the spread (ATS) at 12-5 and, after the Super Bowl, finished as the clear top wager with a 15-5 ATS record. It’s proof that any given Sunday, an underdog can rise to the top of America’s hottest sport.

For the first time since 1998, no NFL playoff matchups will feature Patrick Mahomes, Tom Brady, or Peyton Manning. Let that sink in. Why? The Kansas City Chiefs are officially out of the playoffs after losing to the Los Angeles Chargers 16-13. And even if they had won, Mahomes’ apparent ACL tear all but sealed their fate.

But with three weeks left, there are still plenty of matchups left to bet on. Every division except the NFC East is up for grabs, and to make things even more interesting, we’ve got a Saturday doubleheader to start your holidays off right.

Here are the most interesting games for Week 16 and their NFL Odds.

Thursday Night Football

Los Angeles Rams (11-3) at Seattle Seahawks (11-3)

  • Start: December 18 at 8:15 p.m. ET on Prime Video
  • Spread: Rams  -1, Seahawks +1
  • Moneyline: Rams -120, Seahawks EVEN
  • Total: 44

It’s time for Seattle to have a heat check after nearly fumbling their fourth-straight win to a 44-year-old QB who hadn’t played since 2020. Their record is identical to the Rams, but their margin of victory is actually ahead by four points. But if the Rams being -1 road favorites is any indication, it’s clear who oddsmakers consider the better NFC West team.

The Rams are coming off an impressive 41-24 shootout against Detroit, their second straight 40-point performance.  However, with the total at 44, it’s clear oddsmakers believe the stingy Seattle defense is capable of slowing them down.

Saturday Games

Philadelphia Eagles (9-5) at Washington Commanders (4-10)

  • Start: Saturday at 5:00 p.m. ET on FOX
  • Spread: Eagles -6, Commanders +6
  • Moneyline: Eagles -260, Commanders +215
  • Total: 44.5

There’s been no NFL team that’s been harder on themselves than the Eagles in 2025. With all the chatter behind wideout AJ Brown, and QB Jalen Hurts, and the struggles of running back Saquon Barkley, you’d think they were sitting at the bottom of the NFC East. But they sit alone atop the division, needing a historic collapse next to a historic win streak from Dallas to lose their second-straight division title.

With Commanders QB Jayden Daniels finally shut down for the season with an elbow injury, the Eagles are -6 road favorites on Saturday.

Green Bay Packers (9-4-1) at Chicago Bears (10-4)

  • Start: Saturday at 8:20 p.m. ET on FOX
  • Spread: Packers -1.5, Bears +1.5
  • Moneyline: Packers -125, Bears +105
  • Total:46.5

The NFL scheduling team can be cruel later in the season. After earning tough wins over the Lions and Bears, they faced a tough loss against Denver. Now, the face the Bears again, this time at Soldier Field.

Oddsmakers are still leaning toward Jordan Love to outduel Caleb Williams again, even after losing superstar edge Micah Parsons to a torn ACL.

Sunday Games

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (7-7) at Carolina Panthers (7-7)

  • Start: Sunday at 1 p.m. ET on FOX
  • Spread: Buccaneers -2.5, Panthers +2.5
  • Moneyline: Buccaneers -160, Panthers +135
  • Total: 45.5

Go back to Week 7, and you could get Baker Mayfield MVP odds at a pricey +325. Now, +50000, and the Bucs are in danger of missing the playoffs. This makes the meeting of .500 squads a monster. It’s essentially a two-man race for the NFC South title, and this is the first of two matchups. Oddsmakers are still with Mayfield, as they’ve made him -2.5 road faves.

Sunday Night Football

New England Patriots (11-3) at Baltimore Ravens (7-7)

  • Start: Sunday Night Football on NBC
  • Spread: Ravens 3, Patriots +3
  • Moneyline: Ravens -150, Patriots +130
  • Total: 48

Things could get interesting with the Patriots visiting the Ravens. Oddsmakers are starting to warm up to Baltimore after it blanked the Bengals in Cincinnati. Now they get the Patriots, fresh off their 35-31 loss to Buffalo after losing the second half 28-7. Has the Ravens D turned the corner enough to slow down Drake Maye and the Pats? Oddsmakers definitely think Baltimore is ready to hang with the elite squads again by making them -2.5 favorites at home.

Monday Night Football

San Francisco 49ers (10-4) at Indianapolis Colts (8-6)

  • Start: Monday Night Football on ESPN/ABC
  • Spread: 49ers -5.5, Colts +5.5
  • Moneyline: 49ers -250, Colts +210
  • Total: 46.5

We know the phrase “any given Sunday” but didn’t realize it meant “any given Sunday you could go from the couch to starting QB for the Colts.

Philip Rivers came in out of shape with no pro reps since 2020, and easily cleared the 13-point spread in an 18-16 loss. That said, he was mostly relegated to being a noodle-armed game manager, but it was enough to keep them ahead of the Seahawks for three quarters. Unfortunately, the 49ers are as desperate to keep winning in the NFC West as Seattle, which is why they’re -5.5 road favorites.
