The NFL returns to British shores once again this weekend with box office games to savour as the league continues its ever-expanding international offering.
In keeping with tradition, these matches will be held at two of the UK’s biggest stadiums, state of the art Tottenham Hotspur stadium and the iconic Wembley Stadium and, if last year is anything to go on, we’re expecting a huge turnout.

The 2023 season will see five games played in Europe, more than ever before, with three matches in London and two in Frankfurt, Germany. Fans across Europe will look forward to being dazzled by some of the finest stars in the league and teams will hope to gain a foothold in Europe as the NFL continues to evolve.
London has been playing host since it first staged a regular-season game in 2007. The Wembley Stadium mudfest saw New York Giants beat the Miami Dolphins 13-10 and league officials remain highly engaged with the UK even as they scout European countries for future host cities.
The NFL will not take over the English Premier League for popularity in the UK however it boasts 14 million fans with 3 million deemed “avid” fans. The comparable figures in Germany — which will host two games in November — are 18 million and 3.3 million.
Spain is looking like a strong contender to be the next international host of a regular-season NFL game and fans could see it happen as soon as 2024.

No team has played more often in London than the Jaguars. The Sunday October 1st game will be their 10th — all but one have been at Wembley Stadium.
