We’ve reached closing time in College Football Playoff (CFP) rankings as most teams are beginning to cement their spot. The first CFP rankings came out five weeks ago and ultimately didn’t change much since then.
The move to a 12-team CFP hasn’t cooled the anger from programs on the outside looking in – trust us, avoid any CFP talk around Miami or BYU fans. These conference championships are the final chance for any real shakeup in the rankings, but realistically, only about two spots remain.
With that, here are the college football conference championship odds for Week 15.

Saturday Games – December 6, 2025
BIG 12: No. 11 BYU Cougars (11–1) vs. No. 4 Texas Tech Red Raiders (11–1)
- Odds: Texas Tech -13
- Total: 49.5
- Time: 6:00 p.m. ET
- Channel: ABC
- Location: AT&T Stadium, Arlington, TX (Neutral Site)
BYU is in a simple but unenviable position. They currently sit at No. 11 in the rankings, with the final week before the CFP spots are decided, but there appears to be no scenario in which they can lose the Big 12 Championship Game and still get in. They have to beat Texas Tech to have a chance, but face a 13-point spread and a defense that just blanked West Virginia.
The Red Raiders have been lining bettors’ pockets all year, boasting the best record against the spread (ATS) in college football at 11-1. Their ATS record is directly tied to their straight-up (SU) wins and losses, with the only blemish occurring in a 26-22 loss to Arizona State.
SEC: No. 3 Georgia Bulldogs (11–1) vs. No. 9 Alabama Crimson Tide (10–2)
- Odds: Georgia -2.5
- Total: 48
- Time: 10:00 p.m. ET
- Channel: ABC
- Location: Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta, GA (Neutral Site)
Despite being in the bottom third of the CFP top 12, there’s more riding on this game for the Bulldogs. The 12-team CFP provides a first-round bye for the top four squads, meaning if Georgia were to suffer an upset, they’d likely be facing Oklahoma, Oregon, Ole Miss, or Notre Dame instead of earning much-needed rest. They could use that bye as their Week 14 showing against Georgia Tech was a shaky 16-9 final score despite being double-digit favorites.
This is the second time the Bulldogs are facing the Tide, and QB Gunner Stockton was held to just 130 yards and one touchdown, losing 24-21as 2.5-point favorites. It’s a little eerie that oddsmakers have made them 2.5 favorites once again.
BIG TEN: No. 2 Indiana Hoosiers (12–0) vs. No. 1 Ohio State Buckeyes (12–0)
- Odds: Ohio State -4
- Total: 47.5
- Time: 2:00 a.m. ET (FOX listed time → corresponds to 8:00 p.m. CT on Dec 6)
- Channel: FOX
- Location: Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis, IN (Neutral Site)
The conference championships have gifted us a potential National Championship game in early December. Two undefeated squads that have dominated college football from Week 1. OSU took the No. 1 spot after beating Texas on opening night and never looked back. Indiana’s rise was unexpected; they had to climb from No. 20 in the AP Rankings and prove their value with a 10-point win over No. 3 Oregon.
But are they good enough to beat the Buckeyes? A four-point spread says yes. Indiana just posted the best regular-season record and ranking in school history, but they haven’t faced a perennial contender on Ohio State’s level – and yet the line is still under a touchdown.
ACC: Duke Blue Devils (7-5) vs. No. 17 Virginia Cavaliers (10-2)
- Odds: Virginia -3.5
- Total: 58
- Time: 2:00 a.m. ET
- Channel: ABC
- Location: Bank of America Stadium, Charlotte, NC (Neutral Site)
This is the matchup that is sure to tick off other teams on the bubble. On paper, Duke and Virginia don’t have the wins, losses, and ranking to crack the top 12. But whoever wins the ACC Conference Championship has a good shot to earn their spot. The CFP committee puts a premium on teams that can grab their conference title, and Virginia earned a shot in the with a 7-1 ACC record, while Duke went 6-2 and won the tie breaker.
Oddsmakers have made Virginia just 3.5-point favorites despite Virginia’s 34-17 win over Duke in Week 12.
