2025 College Football Week 13

Week 12 brought some close calls, and No. 11 Oklahoma’s 23-21upset over No. 4 Alabama to put them in the driver’s seat for the CFP. But overall College Football Playoff movement was minimal. But a lot of squads are still on the CFP bubble, needing big wins or to avoid big losses to squeak into the top 12.

Here are the big matchups and NCAAF Week 13 odds.

Main Event Matchups

No. 22 Missouri Tigers (7–3) at No. 8 Oklahoma Sooners (8–2)

  • Odds: Oklahoma –7.5
  • Total: 42.0
  • Time: 12 p.m. ET
  • Channel: ABC

Although Oklahoma upset Alabama last week, they haven’t secured their spot in the CFP just yet. Tough matchups still remain, with No. 22 Missouri more than capable of pulling off an upset as 7.5-point underdogs.

Missouri has quietly played its way into the top 25 with physical defense and a balanced rushing attack that just gashed Mississippi State for 49 points. The Tigers’ ball-control style (top-15 nationally in time of possession) is built to shorten games and keep things close.

The Sooners are elite in the red zone and on third down defensively, numbers that explain why oddsmakers hung a relatively low total at 42.0 despite two ranked offenses. If Missouri can’t generate pressure on quarterback John Mateer, Oklahoma’s efficient passing game and red-zone perfection make the Sooners worthy favorites. Still, the Tigers’ grind-it-out style gives underdog backers a path to another tight, late-November SEC battle.

No. 13 Miami Hurricanes (8–2) at Virginia Tech Hokies (3–7)

  • Odds: Miami –17.5
  • Total: 49.0
  • Time: 12 p.m. ET
  • Channel: ESPN

The Hurricanes ranked as high as No. 2 in the AP Top 25; now, they sit outside the top 12 and have just two more opportunities to secure their spot in the CFP. The good news is they got back on track against NC State, demolishing them 41-7.

Virginia Tech is just 3-7 on the season, but they’ve played a ton of ranked opponents all year and avoided any shocking blowouts. They’re capable of hanging with the Hurricanes if they keep Beck in check, averaging a solid 171 passing yards against.

No. 15 USC Trojans (8–2) at No. 7 Oregon Ducks (9–1)

  • Odds: Oregon –9.5
  • Total: 59.0
  • Time: 3:30 p.m. ET
  • Channel: CBS

This is USC’s last chance, and they have arguably their toughest test all year. The Oregon Ducks have won four straight since they fell short against Indiana, and despite the hype on their season dying down, they rank seventh in points for (39.2) and sixth in points against (13.7). Oregon brings a top 10 rushing attack, a star QB in the making, and a 4-2 record at home against the spread (ATS).

The Trojans have a top-10 offense to hang with the Ducks, but they’ll need their defense to step up. They’ve been inconsistent at rushing the QB all year, and Oregon has done a good job in protecting QB Dante Moore.

Arkansas Razorbacks (2–8) at No. 17 Texas Longhorns (7–3)

  • Odds: Texas –9.5
  • Total: 58.0
  • Time: 3:30 p.m. ET
  • Channel: ABC

While most saw Texas’ playoff dreams go up in smoke in their 35-10 loss to Georgia, there’s still hope. They need to beat Arkansas this week as 9.5-point favorites, then they’ll have to upset Texas A&M a week later – currently the No. 3 team in the rankings.

Arch Manning and the offense have been inconsistent, yet this group still owns a winning SEC record and one of the better scoring defenses in the league. Arkansas arrives in Austin in full rebuild mode. The Razorbacks are 2–8, winless in conference, riding an eight-game skid and now playing under interim coach Bobby Petrino after Sam Pittman’s dismissal.

For the Razorbacks to have a chance, they’ll need to hope the Longhorns’ offense is having another inconsistent night while eating up the clock with its top-20 rushing attack.

Kentucky Wildcats (5–5) at No. 14 Vanderbilt Commodores (8–2)

  • Odds: Vanderbilt –10
  • Total: 53.5
  • Time: 3:30 p.m. ET
  • Channel: ESPN

Vanderbilt has turned into one of 2025’s best stories, sitting 8–2 and No. 14 in the CFP rankings behind a balanced offense sparked by quarterback Diego Pavia and a resurgent defense. The Commodores are already bowl-eligible and still harbor outside playoff hopes if chaos hits above them, so motivation shouldn’t be an issue coming off a late-season bye.

Kentucky, at 5–5, is fighting for bowl positioning and looking to snap a rough SEC skid that’s featured multiple one-score losses, including an overtime heartbreaker to Texas.
