NCAA Football Week 11 is here, and the college football odds are ready to go for many of the biggest games.

This week features a couple of games that are huge for the upcoming College Football Playoff selection.

LSU and Alabama are both fighting for survival, while Georgia and Ole Miss are playing in another big battle between ranked teams.

Let’s get into the odds, ends, and insights for college football this weekend…

Florida (+850) at #5 Texas (-1800)

The Florida Gators are miles away from their glory days, but they might take some momentum from last week’s tough effort against the mighty Georgia Bulldogs.

The Gators and their fans and bettors might like the fact that they played the ‘Dawgs close (the game was 20-20 deep into the 4th quarter) right after Georgia beat Texas by 15 points.

This could make the 21.5-spread in favor of the Texas Longhorns seem high. NCAA betting fans might also like the fact that Florida is 5-0 against the spread this season.

But then, Texas is at home and have everything to play for as they aim for the CFP. Plus Gators’ QB DJ Lagway suffered an injury last week and his status in uncertain for this weekend’s game. His replacement, Aidan Warner, was 7-22 and threw a crucial pick against Georgia.

Texas’ D is already tops in the nation in yards allowed, so a third-string quarterback might have a long day against the Longhorns.

Keep an eye on Lagway’s status and then check out all the lines and bets for Florida vs. Texas this weekend.

#2 Georgia (-135) at #16 Mississippi (+115)

This Ole Miss Rebels host the Georgia Bulldogs this weekend in a huge game between ranked teams.

Georgia surprised a lot of college football fans last week, struggling well into the 4th quarter before overcoming Florida. Were the ‘Dawgs just looking ahead to this game against Ole Miss? Or is there something amiss?

The Rebels, meanwhile, are fresh off a 63-21 drubbing of Arkansas. QB Jaxson Dart had an epic 515-yard, 6-TD performance in that game and is looking better with every start this season. Dart has surged in Heisman odds since the beginning of the season.

Of course, Georgia has an answer at QB with their own preseason Heisman hopeful Carson Beck. His college football odds for the Heisman have tumbled with some uneven starts this year, but he’s ready for big games and big pressure.

It may come down to defense. Georgia is 10th in passing yards allowed, with Ole Miss just 10 spots behind them. Keep an eye on the sacks though – the Rebels lead the nation with 42, so Beck will need to be sharp.

The spread is closer than the teams’ rankings appear, with the Bulldogs just 2.5-point favorites.

In close games with a lot of star players, Bovada’s Prop Builder has bets for all kinds of fun categories like the O/U on passing, receiving, and rushing. Take a look at these props and many other bets for Georgia-Ole Miss.

#11 Alabama (-140) at #14 LSU (+120)

The last few weeks of every NCAA football season always produce a few great must-win matchups, and this battle between the Alabam Crimson Tide and the LSU Tigers is definitely in that category.

Both teams are essentially playing for a College Football Playoff spot, and neither one is expected to be 6-2 at this stage of the season. The loser of this game is not playing in January.

‘Bama’s two losses have come by 12 points in total though, and both were to ranked teams. A play or two the other way and they could be 8-0.

LSU, on the other hand, is fresh off a 15-point loss to Texas A&M. Whether this is a sign of weakness or it provides a wake-up and extra motivation heading into this weekend’s game remains to be seen.

Both teams have elite QBs that have struggled a little in recent weeks. ‘Bama’s Jalen Milroe has 7 TD’s but also 7 INTs in his last 4 games, and LSU’s Garrett Nussmeier has taken 11 sacks over the same period.

The Tide is a 3-point favorite, but LSU will have a rabid crowd on hand. It should be a close game, and there are many ways to play it beyond just the moneyline and spread. Check out dozens of great ways to bet on the Alabama-LSU game at Bovada.

#9 BYU (-180) at Utah (+155)

Big 12 battles are always big, and the Brigham Young Cougars game against the Utah Utes should be a beaut. State rivalries usually deliver extra sauce too.

The small point spread of 4 points in favor of a top-ten team like BYU means the Utes are being taken seriously, even though they are unranked.

Utah’s defense is the key to this close spread, and the reason the Over/Under is a low 40.5.

They’re 11th in the entire country in points allowed per game. But they’re 0-4 in their last four, and even though they’re not giving up many points, they haven’t scored more than 19 points in any of those losses. The Cougars haven’t won in Utah’s house since 2006, so fans of streaks and jinxes might like to lean the Utes way.

Then again, BYU is the last unbeaten team in the Big 12 for a reason. QB Jake Retzlaff is having a great season and is a Big 12 candidate for Offensive Player of the Year. Retzlaff has racked up over 1800 yards and 18 touchdowns this season.

Looking for other reasons to pick BYU? When it comes to college football odds this season, BYU is a very impressive 7-1 ATS.

Maryland (+1200) at #1 Oregon (-4000)

The Oregon Ducks have been a juggernaut (or maybe a juggernaut?) lately, with a firm grip on the country’s #1 ranking as we near the end of the college football season.

Will they be looking ahead though, and take the Maryland Terrapins too lightly?

Maryland already beat another Big Ten opponent, USC, just three weeks ago in a 29-28 thriller. They can rely on a strong passing offense, currently 9th in the nation and with WR Tai Felton leading the Big Ten in catches and yards, to put some pressure on the Ducks.

If they can’t win outright, they may just be able to put up enough points late in the game to cover the current 25-point spread.

The Ducks, for their part, would no doubt love to finish the season unbeaten and cruise into the CFP as the top seed. They’ve won their last 3 games by an average of over 28 points, so unless they’re really looking ahead to Wisconsin next week, they could be set to turf the ‘Terps.
