Week 11 delivered another entertaining slate of college games, filled with the usual highlight-reel plays and scattered with a few thrilling upsets. While the top eight teams all won and their rankings remain virtually unchanged, there was a ton of movement in the rest of the Top 25. Missouri jumped up five spots following their big win over Tennessee, while the Volunteers dropped by seven in the rankings. Oklahoma State fell even further, dropping nine spots after losing to UCF in a shocking college football upset.
Quarterbacks were once again at the center of it all, with a number of signal-callers delivering memorable performances in Week 11. These college passers get a ton of attention – and rightfully so – they have the potential to elevate their team to a whole new level. With that being said, let’s take a closer look at the 10 best quarterback performances from Week 11 of the college football season.
10. Carson Beck – Georgia Bulldogs
The quarterback for the two-time defending national champs had another typical day under center, leading the SEC program to its 27th straight victory dating back to 2021. Beck was 18 of 25 for the Bulldogs, throwing for 306 yards and two touchdowns in a 52-17 blowout over Ole Miss. The win improved Georgia to 10-0 on the season, getting Beck and his teammates one step closer to the College Football Playoffs.
9. Kyle McCord – Ohio State Buckeyes
Taking on Michigan State, Buckeyes QB Kyle McCord excelled in Week 11. Ohio State had little trouble with the Spartans, with McCord putting up 335 and 3 touchdowns on 24 of 31 passing. The 335 yards through the air was a season-high for the college quarterback, with McCord now owning a 20:4 touchdown-to-interception ratio and boasting the 6th best QBR (84.9) in the nation.
8. Michael Penix Jr. – Washington Huskies
This may be the final season for the Pac-12 conference but Michael Penix Jr. and the Washington Huskies are just getting started. The quarterback and Heisman Trophy candidate had another strong outing last week, leading his team to a big win over a Top 25 opponent in Utah. Penix Jr. finished the game 24 of 42 for 332 yards passing and 3 touchdowns (2 passing, 1 rushing).

7. John Rhys Plumlee – UCF Knights
In arguably the most shocking outcome of Week 11, UCF QB John Rhys Plumlee helped the Knights pull off a 45-3 thrashing of Oklahoma State. Leaning on his team’s dynamic rushing attack, the senior threw just 18 passes and completed only 11, yet managed to finish the game with 299 yards and 3 touchdown passes. He also picked up 74 rushing yards in the quarterback’s best performance of the season.
6. Bo Nix – Oregon Ducks
It was another solid showing from Bo Nix in Week 11 and we’d expect nothing less from this year’s Heisman Trophy betting favorite. Taking on USC and star quarterback Caleb Williams, Nix showed NFL scouts what he was capable of by throwing for 412 yards and 4 touchdowns on 23 of 31 passing. This marks the second straight game that Nix has thrown for 385+ yards and 4+ touchdowns for the Ducks.
5. Jordan McCloud – James Madison Dukes
He may not get a lot of attention playing in the Sun Belt conference, but James Madison quarterback Jordan McCloud has been playing outstanding football this season and helped his team improve to 10-0 with last week’s 44-6 win over UCONN. McCloud was an impressive 33 of 37 passing (89%), throwing for 457 yards and 4 scores in the victory. He now ranks fifth in nation with 26 touchdown passes on the campaign.
4. John Paddock – Illinois Fighting Illini
In what was his first start for Illinois following his transfer from Ball State quarterback John Paddock aired it in a thrilling 48-45 win over Indiana. The senior signal-caller was 24 of 26 passing for a mind-blowing 507 yards through the air. Paddock managed to throw four touchdown passes along the way and managed to breath some new life into his team’s once-stagnant offense.

3. Jalen Milroe – Alabama Crimson Tide
Alabama QB Jalen Milroe continues to improve his play as the season goes on, with the sophomore leading the Crimson Tide to a 49-21 win last week over Kentucky. Milroe was a scoring machine in this SEC matchup, throwing for a touchdown on three separate occasions while also picking up an additional three touchdowns with his legs. In total, he was 15 of 22 for 234 yards passing and 6 touchdowns on the day.
2. Dillon Gabriel – Oklahoma Sooners
Looking at Dillon Gabriel’s stat line from Week 11, you may think he was playing a video game. The Sooners quarterback threw for a mind-blowing 423 yards and 5 touchdowns on 23 of 36 passing. As if that wasn’t enough, he also picked up 50 yards rushing and another 3 scores on the ground in his Oklahoma’s 59-20 trouncing of West Virginia.
1. Jayden Daniels – LSU Tigers
Last, but certainly not least, we have to give some special recognition to Jayden Daniels. Although the Tigers have already suffered three losses this season, that hasn’t slowed down the play of the LSU quarterback, who went 17 of 26 passing for 372 yards and 3 touchdowns in a 52-35 win over Florida. That would have been a good day for just about anyone, but Daniels also tacked on an astounding 234 yards rushing and 2 more scores on just 12 carries. In total, the quarterback accounted for over 600 yards of offense and 5 touchdowns in the victory.
