For Mike Tyson to win by KO, TKO, or DQ (remember Tyson’s appetite for Evander Holyfield’s ear?), the odds are at +250 currently. Speaking of the ear situation, there’s a bet for that too: the odds are +10,000 if Tyson decides to repeat the feat and bite Paul’s ear (and +50,000 if Paul does it to him).

If you think there’s a chance he pulls one of his crazy stunts and gets disqualified, the odds are posted on Bovada for that outcome too.

On the other side of the ring, Tyson fans who think he still has the goods can choose his exact method of victory too.

For Tyson to win by KO, the odds are +625. Fight fans who respect his boxing experience might choose to go big with Tyson winning by majority decision (+5000), which would mean the 58-year-old manages to preserve his energy and go all eight rounds with Paul.

ROUND PROPS

Looking at the Round Props and the various Paul vs Tyson odds, the Over/Under for the fight to last a certain number of rounds is available to bet on in a number of ways.

Oddsmakers are expecting the fight to last a few rounds at least. The odds are -1100 for the Over 1.5 bet, while the Under for 1.5 rounds is +600, they highest paying odds for all the different Over/Under totals.

You can also pick the exact round and boxer when it comes to Tyson vs Paul odds. If you think Jake Paul will win the fight in Round 1, the odds are +2000. For Mike Tyson to finish the brash YouTuber in Round 1, he’s at +1600 currently to make that happen. Even though he’s the underdog, Tyson still has the greater potential to KO Paul.

Jake Paul (-230)

With probably the most unusual path ever taken to reach professional boxing, Jake Paul arrives in the ring with almost nothing to lose.

If he goes down to Mike Tyson, widely considered the baddest fighter ever, he’s still going to be seen as a hero for even stepping into the ring.

If he wins – and the current Paul vs. Tyson odds are pretty solidly in his corner – then he gains the respect of many people and can add to his celebrity status 100x over.

From his first boxing match against fellow YouTube celebrity Deji Olatunji, Paul discovered his love for the sweet science and he credits boxing for saving him from the destructive path he was on.

Jake moved on to fight – and beat – MMA stars like Tyron Woodley, Anderson Silva, and Nate Diaz before losing a split decision to established pro boxer Tommy Fury.

Paul is considered the favorite in this fight largely due to his age, on top of his boxing skills that are continually underestimated. At 27, he’s 31 years younger than Tyson.

Mike Tyson (+190)

With the most fearsome reputation in the history of boxing, Mike Tyson represents the toughest opponent of Jake Paul’s young boxing career.

Tyson was the undisputed Heavyweight Champion of the World from 1987-1990. He won his first 19 professional boxing matches, all by knockout. He won and retained his IBF, WBC, WBA, and The Ring belts in that period in nine separate fights against Larry Holmes, Michael Spinks, Frank Bruno, and others.

Tyson’s most recent pro fights were losses, way back in 2004-2005. In 2020, he fought the legendary Roy Jones Jr. to a draw in an exhibition match.

All this ring rust, along with being 58 years old, puts the Tyson vs Paul odds in Jake Paul’s favor. But even though Paul is still favored, the moneyline has been steadily moving towards Tyson as the fight approaches, so check back often for the latest odds.

While Iron Mike’s training videos leading up to this fight still show plenty of punching speed and power, fight fans and oddsmakers alike are giving the edge to Paul mainly because of Tyson’s potential issues with stamina and age.

It’s all going to add up to a great spectacle no matter who’s left standing. Who do you like?
