2024 Week 13 College Football

#5 Indiana (+370) at #2 Ohio State (-510)

Here’s a crazy stat to kick off this top 5 matchup: OSU is 21-0 against Indiana since the 2000’s began.

If you think that has impacted the Indiana Hoosiers’ confidence heading into this game, you might be right. But then, their football program hasn’t been this strong for decades.

This is a true late-season matchup whose moneyline seems a little too tilted towards the Buckeyes. Indiana is third in the nation with 40+ points scored per game, and their defense is a solid 15th in the country, giving up just 15 PPG.

Add in the adrenaline factor too. You have to think Indiana will come out extra fired up with finally having a legit shot at stopping this OSU domination.

Yes, the Buckeyes’ defense is almost NFL-worthy, and the Hoosiers haven’t faced a ranked team this season on their way to 10-0. But the current spread of Ohio -13.5 points seems high for a game where the tension – and the Indiana talent – has rarely been higher.

Over 50 bets are ready to go at Bovada for this top 5 Hoosiers-Buckeyes battle.

#14 BYU (+150) at #21 Arizona State (-130)

The Big 12 Conference Championship Game is up for grabs next month, and these two teams are both gunning for it.

The Brigham Young Cougars just lost their first game of the season last week and took a hit in the AP Top 25 rankings for it, but they are still a quality team.

The Arizona Sun Devils are getting hot at the right time though. They’ve won 5 of their last 6, with two of those dubs coming against ranked teams. ASU QB Sam Leavitt looked very solid last week against a tough Kansas State team, throwing for 275 yards and 3 TDs.

If you like the idea of a bounce-back game plus the chance to clinch the Big 12, BYU could cover the current 3-point spread with an outright win. If momentum is your thing, then Arizona State is the way to go.

Lots on the line for both of these teams in what should be a tight game. Speaking of lines, Bovada has all the lines and props you need for BYU-ASU this weekend.

#19 Army (+500) at #6 Notre Dame (-750)

Notre Dame has most definitely employed some military-style discipline to clean up their act since they lost a shocker early this season to Southern Illinois.

They’ve won eight straight since then, with each W coming with an average margin of victory of over 30 points. The Fighting Irish have also beaten three ranked teams this year.

QB Riley Leonard has gotten steadier as the season progresses too. While he’s not racking up lots of air miles, he’s thrown 6 TD’s vs just 2 INT’s in his last 4 games, and it’s his rushing that keeps opponents on their heels – Leonard has averaged 64 yards per game this year, including two games where he’s gone for over 100.

The Black Knights have a solid counter to Leonard, however. They’ve got their own passing and rushing QB in Bryson Daily, who is 13th in the country in all-purpose yardage this season. Army’s D is also tough, allowing under 10 PPG in four of their last five games.

But the strength of the schedule gives ND a decided edge over Army. The Fighting Irish are battle-tested, and Army hasn’t faced very tough opposition all season – they haven’t faced a ranked team all year on the way to their 9-0 record.

Check out dozens of ways to wager on the Army-Notre dame game now.

#7 Alabama (-585) at Oklahoma (+410)

At the beginning of the season, this late-season Crimson Tide vs Sooners matchup might have looked like a CFP preview. Even though both teams have underperformed this season, there is still plenty to play for in their Week 13 battle.

Oklahoma (5-5) needs a sixth win to be able to qualify for a bowl game, which always means a lot to any college football program.

Alabama, on the other hand, is fighting for a CFP spot – and with 2 losses on the season, they simply can’t afford another loss.

The Sooners come into this game as 13.5-point underdogs and they’re coming off a bye week. Can this extra rest, a potential bowl game, and the storied rivalry between the schools give them a boost? They’d love to beat a top-10 team and play spoilers before re-grouping in the off-season.

A two-TD advantage feels like a lot for a ‘Bama team that has cracked under pressure a few times already this year. No matter which way you want to play it, all the bets for Alabama-Oklahoma are right here.

USC (-185) at UCLA (+160)

The Crosstown Cup for these two Los Angeles-based schools has lost some of its shine in recent years, but a rivalry is always a rivalry and this could be a great game.

The USC Trojans are 5-5 this season, with four of those losses coming in their last 6 games.

The Trojans enter the game as 4.5-point favorites, but history students might note that UCLA took their most recent matchup convincingly, winning 38-20 last season. The Bruins are also 4-1 ATS this season.

Fans of the Over/Under, take note: four out of UCLA’s last 5 games have gone Under, and this Total is a relatively high 51.5. UCLA has also won 3 of its past 4 games, and three of their early season losses came against highly ranked teams, including Oregon and Penn State.

Both teams need this game, and not just for local bragging rights. The Bruins need to win their final two games to become bowl-eligible, and the Trojans just need one more. The catch? USC’s final game is against a tough Notre Dame team, so this game represents their best shot at getting a bowl season invite.

Side note: the Trojans just unveiled Kobe Bryant-inspired cleats for the game. Could USC summon their inner Black Mamba and win this game on vibes alone?
