Fight 1: Yadier “The Cuban Problem” del Valle vs Jordan “The Monkey King” Leavitt

The first fight I want to cover is Yadier “the Cuban problem” del Valle vs. Jordan “the monkey king” Leavitt.

This should be a great scrap between two exciting, young fighters. I feel these guys are pretty evenly matched from a skillset standpoint. Both Del Valle and Leavitt are coming off round 1 submission wins over tough opponents. I expect Del Valle to come out very aggressively, and I’m not sure how Leavitt will respond. We have seen the Monkey King crack under pressure in his fights against Hooper & Pimblett, but we’ve also seen Leavitt get the early KO or submission. I expect one of these fighters to make a mistake early while the fight is chaotic and possibly get themselves submitted.

Overall, I’m going to lean towards Del Valle in this scrap. I think he has more of a killer instinct and might be able to find an early finish. My absolute FAVORITE BET for this fight on the Bovada sportsbook is Del Valle vs. Leavitt U1.5 round at +115 odds.

Fight 2: Ramiz Brahimaj vs Punahele “Puna” Soriano

The second fight we are going to cover today is Ramiz Brahimaj vs. Punahele “Puna” Soriano.

I’m excited for this fight. Both of these warriors have had interesting UFC careers so far, with some bad losses and great wins. These lads are both riding a 3-fight win streak heading into this one, so you know the confidence is high.

I think Puna has a small advantage in the standup, especially from a power standpoint. Expect Puna to come out and establish his distance with the strikes, then start to work on the wrestling threat. This is where I expect Brahimaj to catch Puna with his jiu-jitsu skills. He has a great guillotine & rear naked choke. I’m a bit worried about Puna finding success with the wrestling and turning this fight into a lay-and-pray. I’m going to sprinkle Brahimaj by Sub +150 on Bovada Sportsbook. As the fight goes on, this becomes more likely as Puna will get tired.

The play I like most in this one is the fight ending by DECISION +175. It’s a risky play, but I can see these guys struggling to execute their game plan in this one, and us getting a lackluster 3-round fight.

Fight 3: Sean Strickland vs Anthony “Fluffy” Hernandez

Last but certainly not least, we’ve arrived at the MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING, and boys, I am JACKED UP for this one – Sean Strickland vs Anthony “Fluffy” Hernandez

Let’s be honest, anytime Sean Strickland is headlining a card, you genuinely have no idea what you’re going to get – inside or outside the cage. I’ve been breaking down this fight for like 2 weeks now, and I think I’ve COOKED it up.

I’m not gonna lie, I think it’s a little disrespectful seeing Sean Strickland sitting at +215. The man’s résumé is absolutely insane. He has fought every type of style & skill in the Middleweight Divison.

Outside of that, Fluffy is a BEAST. He is going to bring the pressure and intensity right to Strickland’s face, and we are going to have to see how he answers. I will say stylistically, this is a bad matchup for Fluffy. Strickland’s cardio, footwork, and skillset will make it hard for Fluffy to impose his will. I expect Fluffy to find success with his gameplan, but I think he will struggle to keep Strickland on the mat and do any real damage. This fight could resemble Strickland vs. Du Plessis 1. Except, Fluffy is not Du Plessis, and I just don’t see him controlling Strickland that well. I could see a world where Strickland finds a TKO. With this in mind, my favorite Bovada Sportsbook play for this fight is a Double Chance Sean Strickland to Win by TKO or Decision +250.
