The Katie Hoofnagle Story
Hoofnagle shared a collage of photos from Darnold’s proposal on Instagram. The beautiful scenic beach-y photos captured the two bright-eyed and very much in love couple…with a caption that read “YES!!!!!”
In June the future Mrs. Darnold posted a sweet message for Sam’s birthday: “Amidst the chaos of our everyday lives, every day spent with you is filled with an abundance of peace, laughter, presence, joy, and love. Here’s to another trip around the sun sharing good meals, good music, and good company. Happy 28th birthday to my better half, I love you more.”
Katie Hoofnagle is a marketing specialist and a San Francisco Bay Area native. She also majored in marketing and minored in nutrition at the University of South Carolina.
Hoofnagle later relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina, where she began her career. She is now working remotely as a marketing specialist in the healthcare sector.
Just this past Sunday, Katie praised her fiancé after he threw touchdowns in a 31-27 victory over the Rams. Hoofnagle shared a video of Darnold holding the trophy in his hands. “LFG 14!” She captioned.

The pair has also been captured on the sideline with a big embrace for one another and some quick pecks before the next pass. Some could say Darnold’s life is seemingly winning in all aspect at the moment.
